Our project has been selected for the call for projects marking the millennium of William the Conqueror's birth. Our Guillaume 360 platform arrives in late 2026: it will let you visit the places that shaped the life of the duke who became King of England, from Falaise, where he was born around 1027, to the priory of Saint-Gervais in Rouen, where he died in 1087.

The words
The historical content of our tours is not copied from an encyclopaedia entry. It is written by Élodie and Pierre, local guides in Rouen. Élodie holds degrees in history, art and cultural mediation, and leads tours of the city all year round, in French and in English.
They are the ones who decide what deserves a closer look, who check every date, who dig up the detail that makes you look up. Without them, these tours would be nothing but beautiful silent images.

Guillaume 360 is the forthcoming virtual tour platform devoted to William the Conqueror, developed by JUUMO. The project was selected as part of the call for projects for the millennium of William the Conqueror's birth. Available in late 2026, it will let you explore in 360 the places that marked the great stages of his life, from Falaise to Rouen, where he died at the priory of Saint-Gervais in 1087.
Every JUUMO virtual tour offers high definition 360 panoramas, a scene by scene route, historical information points, audio guides and, often, places the public cannot reach: lantern towers, roof timbers, galleries or crypts. The tours run on mobile, desktop and VR headsets.
The Church of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc (1979, architect Louis Arretche) stands on the Old Market Square, on the very spot where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake on 30 May 1431. It houses thirteen Renaissance stained-glass windows of the 16th century, saved from the old church of Saint-Vincent, which was destroyed in 1944.
The classic walk through the historic centre links Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Gros-Horloge, the Old Market Square with its Church of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc, then the Church of Saint-Maclou, the Aître Saint-Maclou and the Abbey Church of Saint-Ouen. It is all on foot. The 360 virtual tours on this site are an excellent way to plan the route and decide where to spend the most time.
Yes. JUUMO virtual tours run in the browser of a virtual reality headset (Meta Quest and equivalents): simply open the address of the tour in the headset browser for full 360 immersion. There is no app to install.
